@astroclem's overview of designing direct imaging surveys has instilled my confidence in finding my way one day with any bizarre ideas in the quest for expanding our repo of images of exoplanets, and hopefully some in their nascent disks

Almost 3 months after submitting my paper, the editor had no news from the reviewer and decided to search for another referee, so it is now back to square one...
Such delays are pretty big on the timescale of a postdoc and it feels like it's seriously impacting my job apps now 😥
