@fiytbb@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 I mean, it just means you're not comfortable with the gender binary... There's still non-binary people that lean one way or the other. Yes, I agree completely that gender is made up. It is not reasonable to criticise the trans people who choose to "play along" if it works for em.
@fiytbb@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 Because some people have bottom dysphoria, other's don't. Others are happy to compromise and try to appreciate their own anatomy, others aren't so lucky and feel deeply uncomfortable with it.
@fiytbb@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 But a lot of people do take hormones, which changes ones physical features associated with one's sex. You realise you can tell people apart by features other than their genitalia?
@fiytbb@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 You're impossible omg. People choose to transition for their own comfort first. It's not "bending the knee" or "reinforcing stereotypes" to act in a way that avoids ostracisation. Also, trans people defy gender norms constantly. You forget that very many are nonbinary.
@fiytbb@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 But to address another point of yours, why are you surprised that trans people act within the social norms of gender to find gender euphoria? What seems more sensible, playing by the rules of a well established system or stopping at nothing short of dismantling it?
@fiytbb@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 The social expectations of the gender assigned at one's birth is not the whole picture but you claim otherwise for your convenience. It also doesn't change that supporting them in their transition is still the safest and most logical choice.
@Ashiya93@JustGemini79@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 Those are sexes not genders and that's not even correct, intersex people obviously exists, and genetics makes it possible for sexual characteristics to be expressed along a spectrum, not just within a binary. You're arrogant, loud and fucking wrong.
@JustGemini79@Ashiya93@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 Why are you straight up lying? If reality doesn't align with your views, consider they may be wrong??? Sure, if I'm not intersex and I have a penis my SEX is male. My gender might be man as well, but it doesn't always follow anatomy. It's really not so hard to understand.
@LukiasGB@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 You're also conflating gender with sex. Trans people don't expect you to play make believe on their biology, they know what their anatomy is. They just follow the social norms of a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth. I don't know why people stroke out about it.
@LukiasGB@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 Facts don't care about your feelings, which is why your appeals to "basic" biology are irrelevant when it's a matter of advanced biology. You'll have an stroke when you discover that intersex people exist & that sex characteristics can also be genetically expressed as a spectrum.
@fursinfinity@Nicky62870025@Fnxkp@RhazOhma@Samantha8182 Well you're categorically lying now. It doesn't "sterilize" people, it might make it harder to have a baby but that's far different from having your tubes tied or a vasectomy. Also only about 5-12% of adults have genital *surgery*, and referring to it as mutilation is deceptive.
