State Of Grumbles: 🥵

First of all I want to thank everyone who has minted so far, as you all know the minting process was super botched because as luck may have it the memecoin szn decided to pick up literally the day/week I decided to launch Gen-2. ❤️

Thankfully I was able to come to terms with Magic Eden and extend the mint for an entire week to give everyone an actual shot at minting the collection, which in my opinion was the best call. 🧠

As many of you already know I was very much in the air about dropping the mint price and airdropping the collection to holders but I reached out to a few blue chip founders for guidance on the matter and I think the decision NOT to drop the mint drop was ultimately the right call. The last thing I would want to do is devalue the collection. 💎

Truthfully when the mint started acting up because of network failures, we should have just paused but I didn't have the foresight or support to even understand that was an option. 🫥

But here we are. 🤔

As I type this, we have 2 days and 19hrs left of mint with 34% (385 out of 1,111 minted) I've come to peace that the entire collection may/probably not mint out and I actually feel better about it now. I think having a lower supply in the long run will make it more valuable. This collection is unlike anything on the Solana blockchain and I'm fucking proud of that. 🥰

This was always art first. ALWAYS. 🎨

I made a few mistakes in the past by making promises I couldn't keep and overwhelming myself, so out the jump I was completely transparent that Grumbles is my love letter and art project above anything else.

So what happens with the rest of the collection if we don't mint out? That seems to be a big question.

My plan ⤵️

Once mint closes, I will have 169 (😏 ) Grumbles minted to the treasury wallet for giveaways, collabs, networking, whatever feels right. I will NEVER list them on the marketplace.

The remaining Grumbles that don't get minted, will not die. I have a plan for them and everyone that is a holder will have another opportunity to grab one. Just trust me on this. I'm dedicated to community.

They won't be apart of the Gen-2 official collection but they will have their own place and it'll be dope as fuck. (If you've ever felt like an...outcast....🫢 )

I know a lot of you wanted a 1 to 1 airdrop and this will feel a lot like that with hopefully a lot less issues. 🫡

Additionally, I'm currently working on enamel pins and merch to provide/ship to all the holders! I'll have photos to share soon of the mock ups but KNOW you'll all love it. As well as on-chain FUN but I don't want to promise anything on that part til I get everything locked in! 🥳🥳
