@BayouBikeyBoi This is still higher than every other mayor the city of Houston has ever had.
It’s not the mayor it’s because it’s 90* with 80% humidity.
If you want to attack anyone how about slum lords, gang baggers and gas stations that make no one want to walk near them.
@HOUController You should be focused on producing audits that uncover waste, fraud, and inefficiency rather than becoming embroiled in highly public political battles.
@HOUController@CGHollins You would be fired as a comptroller at basically every company in Houston or Texas for that matter. Do your job get off the Internet and take your position seriously
@houmayor Only charge those using the service. Private communities that pay for thier own trash, roads, gas lines, water lines and sewage lines should not be charged for trash service they do not use.
So crazy seeing the ex county clerk try to bully the mayor. The Houston county clerk and records are some of the worst in the state of Texas while you were in charge and still are.
Out of 243 counties in Texas going to Harris country was one of the worst and most in transparent counties to ever pull records from.
@evan7257 He used toll road authority money to not fund the entire city or county but instead focused those funds on one particular area to expedite his self initiatives and self dealings
@evan7257 He has had significant influence on the HCTRA since 2017. So much so that he has diverted revenue from it to fund projects that are cloaked as mobility in turn to fund for areas of the 5th ward
@HoustonChron Such a click bait article. Can’t you just cut to the chase and add that added police forces to combat illegal dumping was the decision instead of making people click your article, subscribe to your shitty paper and the have to read a half assed article.
@BayouBikeyBoi So you are saying to not enforce illegal dumping? I think it’s less fun watching the city of Houston become a trash dump on every corner
