Selling shows theyre worth their current rating plus the Bitcoin now to increase their rating. With the higher rating comes more institutional investors that were locked out before
There is no need to use steamOS then if this is your situation. The point I'm making is steamOS is a free platform. People that prefer performance and security will give up the handful of games that don't work for steamOS. And people that don't mind root level access don't need to leave for their favorite games.
I don't get why it's a "who's better" when it comes to the anti cheat point. This is more a question of "do you care about opening your computer up to security vulnerabilities?" and it's a feature not a bug for both sides. Linux users like that anti cheat doesn't work on Linux and Windows users like that anti cheat works on Windows.
