A cabinet minister allegedly walked into a boardroom and told a state-owned enterprise don't compete with the President's son. That's not governance that's a family protection racket funded by the Namibian taxpayer. Namport loses N$20 million, Lรผderitz port users pay monopoly prices, and one family gets richer. If Minister Nekundi did this, he should resign. If the President knew, she must answer. No family is above the economy of this country.
Two Members of the Namibian Defence Force Arrested in Connection with the Loss of N$179,508.91
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has confirmed the arrest of Michael Nehemia and Fransiskus Ndatoolewe Sheehama, both members of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF), who are currently on suspension.
The pair are said to have been involved in a corrupt scheme between November 2019 and February 2020. This scheme resulted in a financial loss of approximately N$179,508.91 to the NDF.
ACC Interim Spokesperson Marina Matundu reported that the corruption involved fraudulent payments made to the civilian company Lifeline Body Workshop and Car Sales for vehicle repairs and services that were never performed. Additionally, there were inflated quotations meant to generate personal financial gain.
Nehemia appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court and was granted bail of N$10,000, while Sheehama's court appearance is still pending.
โThis case exposes serious abuse of official positions for personal enrichment within the NDF. Both suspects have been charged under the Anti-Corruption Act with corruption, specifically for using their positions for personal gain, with fraud listed as an alternative charge,โ Matundu added.

@NNyashaYessur I don't think they really hate you, situation of poverty and high unemployment is forcing them to do that... You need to face your government to do better rather than fighting to stay in SA. Truly that's not safe environment for children.
@lilomatic What will the public servants and parastatal employee contribute to the extension Munangwaga to cling to power till 2030, that's not salary adjustments but way of bribing party members to support him while ordinary citizen fighting to stay at SA
@SandileMakeba Seems like Zimbabwe is on sales; everyday Zimbabwe did this and that, and yet they're still around the street of neighbouring countries selling bloom and most of them are cheap labour, illegal closing board into other countries for survival!
