Caught the Moon tonight, August 19, hanging low in Libra — 48% lit and only hours away from first quarter.

🌓 It’s riding the far end of its orbit right now, roughly 400800 km out, which makes tonight’s half moon look a touch smaller than usual. Along the terminator, the crater trio Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina throws long shadows, with rugged Maurolycus further south and Posidonius up north.
