I am trying to do some basic restoration of astronomical images. I can find nothing in the documentation of @astropy or @SciPyTip about Lucy-Richardson, MEM, etc. Help?
Any good sources you like for variable star data? Creating a lesson for students and for physics teachers, probably using matplotlib at this point... #iteachphysics#astronomy@astropy
I have a question @astropy : I know its possible to calculate parameter covariance and std during fits, but is it also possible to get the uncertainty of the fitted functions value if I evaluate it?
Te queremos presentar este proyecto @astropy el cual es un esfuerzo de la comunidad para desarrollar un paquete central común para Astronomy in Python y fomentar un ecosistema de paquetes de astronomía.

AstroTwitter: I'm trying to play with @ESAGaia DR3 data to plot the current and future positions of stars with proper motions.
In the @astropy SkyCoord parameters "pm_ra_cosdec", should I include the cos(dec) my self or not ? I found diverging examples of the web.
We are delighted to announce the release of astropy 5.2 (and 5.2.1), which contains several new features and bug fixes. Details are at

Does anyone have or know of any good demos of the @astropy visualization package? It looks really good, haven't really used it before and not an expert on image processing. cc @LearnAstropy
