My RimWorld mods somehow got corrupted or something and everything is failing. Well, good thing I do daily backups, then.
Uh, nope. That's not being backed up. I have absolutely nothing. Well, that's annoying.
Now that I have to enter all my job hunting activity on a website for unemployment, I have just discovered they do not have an Interview category, which is mind blowing.
Just got done my interview, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing, either. I might get it if they're hiring multiple people, but if they only have one opening, I doubt I will be getting this job.
I'm also making an assumption this guy is the only one who decides who goes onto the second round. This may or may not be true, but he was the only interviewer, so it may be reasonable to assume that.
@grahamformaine@AlJean I don't disagree, but even if we did remove them, Trump would replace them with far worse younger justices. I feel like this is something we should wait on, assuming it can get traction at all.
I just checked out of curiosity and it is not the highest I've had when adjusted for inflation, which is crazy because in absolute amount it's 20% higher than my best paying job.
Got an interview tomorrow, I'm relatively sure it'd be the highest paying job I've ever had, even adjusted for inflation. I know there's a lot of other people being interviewed for it and I'm not sure how many positions they have, so we'll see how it goes.
I'm relatively sure Carol Danvers (who most people know as Captain Marvel because of the MCU) was still Miss Marvel at that point. (And that black and yellow costume was far better than anything else Danvers has ever worn.)
Confusing.
In the 90s, Marvel and DC created the "Amalgam Universe" where every hero was a combination of a hero from each company. Dark Claw was Wolverine and Batman, Super Soldier was Captain America and Superman. Captain Marvel was, uh, Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel. That amused me.
Specifically, it was the Kree version of Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell), though he'd been dead for almost 20 years by that point. I believe Monica Rambeau was using the name Captain Marvel by that point as well. Confusing.
The other Captain Marvel was, of course, Billy Batson.
@b4yp My thoughts are the fire might be between you and the extinguisher. Maybe it's because my parents kept in the basement (well, on the basement side of the basement door) that it just seems like under the sink is a bad place to me.
My apartment got inspected and that means I can now move the fire extinguisher out from under the kitchen sink because it makes no sense to keep it there. Kitchen is the most likely spot to have a fire, and now you can't get to the extinguisher because of the fire. Stupid.
