Nikki walking backwards is one of the most creepy scenes in the movie. I don't understand why she did that tho. Was it explained anywhere by the director or someone since the movie keeps everything vague and open to interpretation?

@StarMan9075 Right and there seem to be multiple points in the movie where Bear could’ve at least tried something, but he either didn’t think of it or didn’t want to risk losing the version of Nikki that was obsessed with him.
One thing I’ve always wondered…
Why didn’t Bear just tell Nikki, “If you want me to truly love you, wish yourself back to normal first”?
Technically, he wouldn’t be lying and wouldn’t that have solved everything?

@StarMan9075 You say that like there was never a point in the movie where he wanted her to be normal again. If he never wanted her to go back to normal, he wouldn't have purposefully OD'd and would just run away with her
