Services at the eStruxture/Datavault DC have been restored as of ~2:30am PT. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are still experiencing issues.
Issue is due to a failed linecard that didn't failover properly after the primary fibre path was lost. An additional linecard is en route to eStruxture/Datavault now to restore services.
we are experiencing an outage at our eStruxture/Datavault facility that appears to be the result of a fibre cut. Some Astute client services are impacted. A technician has been dispatched to site to restore services ASAP.
The failed switch came back online right as our DC tech was arriving at the facility. We're going over the system now to determine what caused the reboot.
we are experiencing what we believe to be an issue with one of our PDU's at the Toronto 151 Front St. facility. A technician is being dispatched onsite ASAP.
We're seeing renewed attacks towards different IPs for the same client as last Friday, beginning at around 3:03pm PDT. ACLs were updated as of 3:38pm which appear to be effective thus far. Our network team will be monitoring closely for the next while.
The attacks began to escalate through other ingress points into our network. We've since added ACLs on our core routers to other paths as of 9:53am, and see traffic levels normalized to the access segment of the targeted client. We will continue to monitor and post updates.
At 9:18am, the DDoS attacks spread to a different IP belonging to the same client. This IP was added to our ACLs as well at 9:30am. We also pre-emptively ACLed the client's other IPs. We are monitoring the situation closely to prevent any further disruptions to our network.
Beginning at approximately 8:20am, there has been some latency and packet loss to portions of our network due to substantial DDoS attacks to a prominent VOIP services provider on our network. This was mitigated through ACL's on our core routers by 8:58am.
We are currently experiencing network issues. A distribution router failed and traffic didn't failover properly. Some configuration changes were made, bringing most customers back online but customers with more specialized configurations could still be down.
Hurricane Electric appears to be having some packet loss issues between Vancouver and Seattle. Their NOC has received multiple reports and is investigating the issue. We've dropped advertisements on our transit to them from our AS63213 value network
The issue has been tracked down to an attack on one of our network devices resulting in a high CPU condition that interfered with some networking infrastructure processes resulting in some minor packet loss. ACLs have now been implemented to mitigate any further attacks.
