@UBaldeep@MacLeodLisa I was.. not by choice but because I worked at city hall. The convoy jammed the core, made conditions unbsrable for buisness owners, home owners and workers. @MacLeodLisa is right on this one.. Ottawa's memory is long, especially with major events like the convoy.
@Turkish_Tank@TimTierney@ottawalover55 And what does it say about the constiuent? Its easy to blame someone else for the problem when we can't look within.
If we want to elevate the discourse, its not incumbent only on elected officials to be accountable. Its up to constiuents to be mature, truthful and factual.
@RiverWardRiley@paddygrant09 You advocated for 'community safety zones' where there shouldn't have been community safety zones just so you could put up a camera.. I can name the locations I worked in your office at the time... stop bulshitting constituents. You were addicted tot he cash.
@msmarg@RiverWardRiley Dont talk to him about tax dollars, he dosent care. Too busy galavanting being useless. He's the biggest waste of tax money around the council table! He's sat on the transit comission and let the decline of the service happen on his watch. This is on his hands. Voters beware.
1/2 Someone at the city complained about the OPP social media post and they removed it... It was likely someone at the City of Ottawa. Accountability is a tough spot for @RiverWardRiley. Will he call for an investigation into the department? Or sweep it under the rug like when
'Where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy'
Mollypenny brought faith where there was hopelessness, joy where there was sadness and light where there was darkness.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and compassion that are immeasurable.
Didn't have bawling on air on my bingo card when I got up today, but here we are.
Molly Penny, the @CHEO Day one employee (Thanks for that one, @AlexMunter !) Was like no other.
Brought LIGHT to so many in dark spaces, places and times.
And brought me some repeat joy. Brown Es
Attending Transit Committee this morning with a solid agenda before us.
Canada Day saw 246,000 customer trips on the Confederation Line and 24,000 on Trillium. The highest one day ridership ever.
Strong ridership numbers as well during Bluesfest and Race Weekend.
@AngryWhiteAsian@Wise_CouncilMan@mark_slapinski@DIYhealthyeats I think you mis interpreted the problem... if the US is buying (importing) Canadian product to the US, it would be the US that controls the tariffs. It would be the American people paying the tariffs not Canadians. That's how tariffs work.
@Alex_S_Cullen@_MarkSutcliffe@LawSocietyLSO No... The LSO dosen't need a guilty verdict to conduct its own investigation into a members character.. it can determine if it warrants further action on its own.
@Alex_S_Cullen@_MarkSutcliffe Let's respect his civil rights Alex . But let's also refer it to the @LawSocietyLSO so that his character may be judged appropriately. After all he deserves everything that is coming to him!
Time to cut them off. Slam the door shut, and shut off the power... all at once. Let Donald come crawling back... and when he does, tell him to get to the back of the line... Canada needs new friends.
After working for an abusive city councillor, I strongly believe that settlements SHOULD affect councillors budgets. They SHOULD be forced to pay the price for their behaviours. Taxpayers need to know what they are on the hook for and council support needs to stop shielding them!
