That semi-autonomous mode in the Mercedes is not news but only to non-car guys. In fact, the system will disengage if there is no steering input from the driver for some time. Though the system can use maps follow back a saved route.
If you don’t put your hand/s on the steering wheel for sometime, you are deemed unresponsive and the car will pull to the sides and call for emergency if it’s connected to the dealership. Accredited dealerships.SOS.

That idea of vehicle inspection by NTSA is not as bad as it seems. If they don’t charge anything for it, just like the MOT tests in UK, it may be more beneficial to the public in road safety.
We have too many unroadworthy jalopies on our roads.
Let it be a free service. We have already paid too much in taxes and levies

Before buying that Jetour, is it really the car you need? Does it really offer all if not most of what you need? Let it not be an impulse buy or peer pressure.
However, all fronts considered, it’s pocket friendly compared to its competitors in its class and has more amenities as standard compared to JDM second hand imports that are always overpriced in the Kenyan market

On the Tiguan project, we are now at test driving stage. All modules replaced and massive rust and corrosion repairs on wiring harness and connectors

We have stripped the Tiguan to access all the damaged modules for cleaning and replacement. We got nearly all modules damaged replaced. These included SRS airbag module, parking brake module, all dashboard modules such as CAN gateway, AC vent motors, lights switch, indicator and wiper switches, Spiral module and gear shift module.
We are still at it.
