A plan for the City to take over & manage the Music Concourse Garage is moving forward this week. Under the proposal, we would take ownership of the 800-space underground parking facility, while the @SFMTA_Muni would manage its operation. Details here: https://t.co/9TadHkyQJZ
Hello. My 7yo learned to ride a bike this weekend. After practicing in our garage (we live on a hill), she took off on JFK and then biked partway home on Page Slow St. Here’s a cheesy video.
A parent in my kid’s 1st grade class works at Muni’s Transit Management Center and gave the class a tour and now some have replaced their backpacks with SFMTA lunch bags. Start em young.

"I was on the 22 with my 2-year-old and my child started singing “As the bus goes round and round” when the verse got to the “windshield” the driver turned on the windshield’s wipers.”
“This employee helped two customers who were obviously under the influence of drugs safely move off the platform and on to a train while they were behaving erratically and dangerously near the trackway. She approached them kindly but firmly and asked if she could help them board a train. During busy rush hour, she helped them stay clear of the trackway and she guided them onto the train and asked patrons to give them a seat. She was empathetic in her interaction, while also effectively and quickly resolved a safety concern. While doing all this, she also had time to give friendly directions to young kids who just missed their train. I’m grateful for this employee handling the situation quickly and effectively, while also remaining kind and empathetic.”
The Pop-Up Beer & Wine Garden will relaunch Saturday, 5/25 during #memorialday weekend. Visitors at Non Plus Ultra’s seasonal, weekend installation can pull together a few Adirondack chairs & enjoy live music programmed by @Illumin8Live, as well as games.
Today we came together to recognize the work we’ve done on Vision Zero and where we need to go. Today we also came together as a community in light of the tragedy in West Portal that devastated our city a little over a week ago.
