These climbers are known as bines rather than vines because they climb by simply winding upwards, curving round anything they meet; vines, such as grapes, use tendrils🌿

@Pembs_Farm Gosh, our tree is groaning under the weight of the walnuts, whilst we do have squirrels I doubt that they could make much difference to the large crop we have - can't wait!

@Pembs_Farm That looks good, sadly many of our apples (3 varieties) are falling off the trees unripe due to the drought. On the other hand the plums are doing really well!
