In a win for the Restaurant Law Center, the Federal Court in the Eastern District of Texas issued a judgment Friday rescinding the 2023 Joint Employer Rule and reinstating the 2020 Joint Employer Rule.
Proud to have been part of this outcome after talking with media and @CommRubio's office. @OregonRLA is fighting to keep restaurants like Pho Gabo open and change rules and regulations that don't make sense.
Upon learning about the negative impacts of this policy, my office has met with the impacted business owner, directed @BDSPortland to immediately pause odor complaints tied to food establishments, and launched an evaluation of the relevant code. https://t.co/GcOQiqHubu

2023 Top 10 Win 🎁
In 2023, @WeRRestaurants continuously fought against harmful regulatory threats. In fact, the Association protected the industry from legislation that would have disrupted reward programs and restaurants’ ability to advertise and communicate with customers.
The @FTC wants to hear from you!
