I myself struggled to get through some parts, but now it's a firm favorite lol

@Beefy_L18 @xzsnes Not saying you'll necessarily enjoy the novel or the anime instead, but I'd at least warn you that the manga tells an almost entirely different story from the novel and anime. To the point where the only aspect it keeps the same is the characters.

I think it's a very worthwhile and thought provoking story, but it's undestandable to be aprehensive about it (5/5)

It is entirely up to the opponent on whether they sacrifice their lands or their creatures. There is no scenario where they're forced to sacrifice their lands. Do you have some sort of official source?

@JarOfWetBread @Intrepid_Tautog No? If you control any creatures you can just choose to sacrifice those creatures if you don't pay the 1 for each of them. If someone chooses to sacrifice their lands instead, then that's on them. It's very much not mass land denial.
