Here’s an idea: rather than asking “why does SHE get a pension and benefits?” or “why does HE get a living wage?” why not ask “why don’t we all get pension, benefits, and a living wage?”

Not sure why, doesn't matter now but registered for the Minister and Premier's townhall with teachers regarding the funding but never got the call. Luckily, I listened in on a staff member's phone. Heard a lot things on the call and I definitely have some thoughts about it. /1

Just a reminder before the Premier's televised announcement that the Alberta gov't chooses to fund our public education system the least. That they choose not to provide the resources for our students. They love to talk about choice, and this is one they should be ashamed about.

New data from Stats Can shows Alberta continues to spend the least on public education of any province in Canada.
For public education, this is nothing new. It’s been our reality for years.
