The (un)critical disconnect of the victims of Nigeria from the country, is engendered by the existential focus of what should be its middle classes and intelligentsia, and the near total absence of an altruistic elite, capable of envisioning the future..🇳🇬🤔
I'm shocked that many Nigerians are voluntarily walking into slavery, and, excitedly, embracing servitude. We seem to have forgotten the battle we fought against military dictatorship and those tyrannical leaders, not too long ago. It is befuddling how we can open our eyes wide open and not understand a simple reality, that tyrants only exist for themselves, family and cronies. And whenever they add messiahnic posturing to it, they usually assume the God complex. Nigeria is at that threshold now, and only God can liberate us.
There's no doubt that President Tinubu is not willing to entertain any competition in 2027. He expects full endorsement despite abysmal failures in all ramifications. Budgets, nil. Security, nil. Propaganda, 💯.
When tomorrow comes, let no one say we were not forewarned. Mine is not a political statement but a humble and visionary message borne out of fervent patriotism.
NIGERIA desperately needs a rescue...
Nobody should celebrate the senate's adoption of e-transmission of results as long as lawmakers continue clinging onto manual collation as "backup". It's a scam.
Manual collation has to be erased.
First choice must be electronic and backup must be electronic. Only then would we have made one giant leap towards making every vote count in 2027.
WHAT WAS SAID
“If electronic transmission fails due to network issues, the manual result sheet will be adopted.”
WHAT WAS MEANT
“When we make electronic transmission fail due to network issues, the manual result sheet will be adopted.”
Put a temporary ban on shortlet; announce caps for annual rent increases (even US counties do it) & deploy massive social housing plan with robust infrastructure with Ogun/Oyo.
I don’t understand how organizations pay staff N850,000 per month and 50% of annual income can’t afford a two-bed apartment?
Where’s upward mobility for the young Nigerian?
In Abuja, i was told my 1.5m can't get me a 2 bedroom empty apartment in Wuse. I was told to come with 3m. After paying, i will still pay crazy agency, legal and caution fee that adds another 20-30% on top.
In Enugu, I was asked to pay 1.5m-2m for a two bedroom empty apartment.
National minimum wage is stuck at 70k/month and 840k/year, that's if you're lucky to be paid on time. Average salaries in Enugu are around 600k yearly and a Million in Abuja.
I have to work 24/7 just to hand over everything to landlord only to survive on garri and pure water. No savings, no investments, no peace, no joy. How am I supposed to love Nigeria? What kind of country is this?
So much rent crises are now forcing young men like me into sharing rooms in family houses or back to villages. Something needs to be done.
APC: We now have 30 governors.
Nigerians: Wow.
APC: We also have 75 senators.
Nigerians: Omo.
APC: Over 230 HOR members o.
Nigerians: Na you dey hot.
APC: Not to brag but we now have over 10m registered members.
Nigerians: That’s very nice. Oya approve Real time transmission of electoral results, so that the world can see you are winning because people love you.
APC: Haaa, that’s too risky ooo.
😭😭😭😭🤦
New research reveals 20% of medicines in Nigeria's informal markets fail quality tests, putting millions at risk.
To demonstrate how digital supply chains and accredited sourcing can improve drug safety, the PACS Project convened stakeholders to share key findings from post-market surveillance in Lagos and Kaduna.

So, we are keeping quiet about this N50 deductible every time you receive transfers?
Soon, someone will say Nigerians don’t pay taxes.
You receive money, they deduct.
You send, they deduct.
You buy goods, VAT.
But, we don’t pay taxes yen yen yen!

The Budget is a Mess!
Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, @FederalUkana, in Akwa Ibom State has an allocation of N500 million to construct boreholes in Cross River State.
This is how @nassnigeria members insert projects for personal gain.
Nigeria’s budget cannot continue like this.
#TheBudgetisaMess
Just look at this, Nigerians!
A Federal Polytechnic (NICTM, @Admissions67005) in Edo has an allocation of N900 million to construct a road in Cross River. How na?🤷♀️
The same Polytechnic is renovating traditional palaces for N300 million and supplying motorcycles to Katsina and Bayelsa traders for N100 million to ease the effect of subsidy removal.
Nigerians, these insertions cannot continue.

Why is a College of Produce Inspection getting an allocation of over N1 billion to construct streetlights?
This College has a mandate to boost agricultural skills and support agricultural development. How does this align with its purpose?
Nigerians, #2025Budget is around the corner. This misallocation of funds must stop!
#TheBudgetisaMess
Dear Nigerians,
Why is a Cocoa Research Institute in Ibadan @CRINComms constructing streetlights worth N100 million in Lagos?
The same Institute is spending N100 million on motorcycles in Osun, N100 million on health centre construction in Ondo, and N200 million on classroom renovations in Rivers.
These types of insertions should have no place in the #2025Budget.
#TheBudgetisaMess
N80 million to a Space Agency for pregnancy sensitization?
This is @nassnigeria members looting through budget insertions! They are inserting projects for personal gain.
We can’t let this continue. #2025Budget will soon be released, Nigerians, shine your eyes and hold your lawmakers accountable.
