That comment "what does a police know about war?" is ignorant and dangerous.
Let me educate you.
The Nigeria Police Force is not just traffic control and station guards. The Police Mobile Force (PMF) , Police Special Forces (Rangers) , Special Intervention Squad (SIS) , and Counter Terrorism Units (CTU) are high‑risk, special operations units that have paid the ultimate price in safeguarding our country.
They have been deployed to the North‑East, North‑West, and other theatres. They have fought alongside the military. They have suffered casualties too. They have rescued hostages. They have raided t£rr0r!st hideouts.
A police officer in the CTU is not directing traffic. He is clearing a room, conducting an ambush, or providing close protection in a high‑threat environment.
What does a police know about war? Ask the families of the fallen PMF officers. Ask the survivors of t£rr0r!st attacks who were rescued by SIS operatives. Ask the communities where police special forces have held the line while waiting for military reinforcement.
The military and police are different institutions with distinct mandates. But in asymmetric warfare, the lines blur. And police special units have consistently stepped up when called.
Their sacrifices will always count. And anyone who dismisses them as "knowing nothing about war" has clearly never seen them in action.
Respect the uniform whether it is green or khaki.
Tinubu doesn't speak for the Yorubas, not every Yoruba person voted for, or defends Tinubu. It's so sickening seeing grown adults generalize an ethnic group based on the poor performance of a person or group of persons. Same thing many did when Buhari was in charge. But the hypocrisy is that, same persons will never accept the same generalization when it involves leaders from their regions or even hometowns.
Focus on the person and not the ethnicity.
Peter Obi: "Elections are rigged in Nigeria because Nigerians want it to be rigged".
This is coming from someone who wanated to hand House of Reps ticket to Aisha Yesufu, and someone that was handpicked.
You talk about rigging but couldn't even allow party delegates to vote for favorites. OK.

Jamie Vardy: "[We] Played #ManCity away [in 2023], lost. @ErlingHaaland just scored and we're kicking off. I'm stood next to him on the halfway line and I let out a little laugh and got battered for it [by Leicester fans]...
"But I was only laughing because Haaland had come back and just turned round and went, 'I got that run from watching videos of you'. So I had a little chuckle and went, 'Well can you f*****g stop doing it?!'" [via @VardyPartyPod]
MTN'S CEO, KARL TORIOLA, IS ESSENTIALLY TELLING NIGERIANS TO USE LESS OF THE DATA THEY PAID FOR WHILE CONTINUING TO CHARGE THEM MORE.
THAT IS PRECISELY WHAT MANY CONSUMERS FIND UNACCEPTABLE.
PEOPLE BUY DATA FOR WORK, EDUCATION, BUSINESS, COMMUNICATION, ENTERTAINMENT, AND DAILY LIFE. IN THE DIGITAL AGE, DATA IS NOT A LUXURY, IT IS A NECESSITY.
NIGERIANS DESERVE AFFORDABLE, RELIABLE INTERNET SERVICE, FAIR PRICING, AND COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY ABOUT HOW THEIR DATA IS MEASURED, PRICED, AND CONSUMED.
IF YOU BELIEVE CONSUMERS ARE BEING SHORTCHANGED, THEN IT IS TIME TO ORGANIZE, SPEAK UP, AND DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY.

"The issue of unlimited data on mobile networks is that it doesn’t exist anywhere in the world unless you’re paying a fortune."
— @MTNNG CEO Karl Toriola
Liars.
Millions of consumers around the world enjoy truly unlimited or effectively unlimited broadband and mobile data plans at prices that are often cheaper, relative to income, than what Nigerians pay for far less service.
Nigerians deserve affordable, reliable, and genuinely consumer-friendly telecommunications services, not endless tariff hikes, poor network quality, and excuses.
The time to #OCCUPYMTN nationwide is fast approaching!
You called your uncle to send you something, saying school was choking. He sent you 5k, in 2016, and you were like “just 5k”.
Now that you are working, they sent you message on WhatsApp you off read receipt, Oghenekaro reply that boy.
“That boy calls you uncle, do not starve him”
🗣️ Cesc Fabregas: “Winning in Italy, believe me, people say there are a lot of 0-0s and 1-0s, it’s difficult. Trust me, I analyse a lot of football. I watch the Bundesliga, La Liga and the Premier League.
Teams defend very, very differently from how they defend in Italy. You watch Premier League teams, you see a structure.
You see what they’re trying to do. You see the style they want to apply. Here, a lot of the time, it’s impossible. It’s impossible to understand what’s happening. That’s why you need to pay great attention to detail.”
🇨🇮🤩 In 2011, Yaya Touré scored the goal to end Manchester City's 35-YEAR trophy drought. He got the winning goal in the FA Cup final against Stoke City. 🏆
Kidnapping in the middle of Ìbàdàn! The people in government keep trading accusations and excuses, instead of working. Whether you inherited the problem or not, you contested and won. The responsibilities were not forced on you. You begged, campaigned and asked for them.
This is a gross failure on the part of the president and the governors of all the states involved.
🚨🗣️ Vitinha: "You have to be very patient against teams like this, especially as Arsenal were leading at one point."
"It's difficult; Arsenal waste a LOT OF TIME at every opportunity: goal kicks, free kicks..."
"Apart from that, they play with LOW BLOCK... It's difficult. You have to be very patient."
🚨🗣️ Luis Enrique back in 2024 on Mbappé's departure:
"Do I think we're going to improve? Without ANY doubt."
"Next year I will control everything. Everything, without exception."
"I think I was very brave last season when I said that we were going to have a better team without Mbappé. I still think we are better, the stats are there..."
"I'd rather have 4 players who score 12 goals each than 1 player who scores 40 goals."
Nigerian state governors are living large, enjoying the privileges of office while many workers struggle to survive. Yet these same governors are proposing wages that condemn workers to poverty and hardship.
A worker who teaches our children, treats our sick, protects our communities, or keeps public services running deserves more than a poverty wage. No one working full time should be forced to choose between food, rent, transportation, healthcare, and education.

Arsenal have set the record for the lowest possession percentage for a team playing in a Champions League final (since records began in 2003-04).
The previous lowest record was also Arsenal, set in the 2006 Champions League final, which they played 72 minutes with 10 men.
🧐 | The strategy was clear
Arsenal reached some unwanted milestones against PSG today:
• Lowest possession in a #UCLfinal since 2003/04 (24%)
• Fewest shots on target in a #UCLfinal since 2021 (1)
• Fewest shots in a #UCLfinal since 2022 (7)
• Fewest passes in a #UCLfinal since 2019 (285)
• Lowest xG in a #UCLfinal since 2023 (0.44)
The right tactical approach, or could things have gone differently? 🤔
If Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT and his service chiefs fail to track down and secure the release of the abducted Oyo schoolchildren and other kidnapped people, we will have no choice but to occupy Aso Rock Villa this week!
