महाराष्ट्र के छात्र फडणवीस सरकार की शिक्षा व्यवस्था और अन्याय से त्रस्त हैं।

आदिवासी छात्र अपनी माँगें लेकर मुंबई पहुँचे - कुछ बस से, और कुछ पैदल चलकर।

उनकी माँगें क्या हैं? आदिवासी आश्रमशालाओं और छात्रावासों में बुनियादी सुविधाएँ। छात्रवृत्ति। वही चीज़ें जो किसी भी बच्चे का हक़ हैं।

मुंबई में रुकने की जगह नहीं थी, तो कांग्रेस ने उन्हें तिलक भवन में ठहराया। और आज सुबह होने से पहले - पुलिस कांग्रेस कार्यालय के अंदर घुसी और इन बच्चों को उठाकर ले गई। आज़ाद मैदान पर प्रदर्शन शुरू होने से पहले ही। जो बच्चे नासिक से पैदल चलकर आए, उनको ये जवाब मिला।

उधर पुणे में MPSC के अभ्यर्थी सत्याग्रह पर बैठे हैं। ये माँगें नई नहीं हैं - मैंने मुख्यमंत्री फडणवीस से इन पर बात की थी। तब कुछ नहीं हुआ। इसीलिए आज ये बच्चे सड़क पर हैं।

मैं और कांग्रेस पार्टी महाराष्ट्र के छात्रों के साथ खड़े हैं। हम एक इंच भी पीछे नहीं हटेंगे।

दिल्ली में इस वक़्त जो हो रहा है, उसका एक ही पैटर्न है - जो औरत सवाल पूछे, उसे चुप कराओ।

जंतर-मंतर पर सैकड़ों लोग हिरासत में लिए गए। महिला प्रदर्शनकारियों ने आरोप लगाया कि पुरुष पुलिसकर्मियों ने उनके साथ बदसलूकी की। महिला पत्रकारों के कैमरे छीने गए, उन्हें घसीटा गया। एक पत्रकार की शिकायत पर FIR तक दर्ज नहीं हुई।

कुछ हफ्तों पहले शाहीन और नफ़ीसा ने साकेत थाने के अंदर अपने साथ हुई हिंसा और बदसलूकी की आपबीती सुनाई है। सोचिए, थाने के अंदर - वो जगह जहां महिलाएं शिकायत लेकर जाती हैं।

जिन पर महिलाओं की रक्षा की ज़िम्मेदारी है, वही आज उनके लिए ख़तरा बन रहे हैं। और दिल्ली पुलिस किसके अधीन है - यह पूरा देश जानता है।

साकेत थाने का पूरा CCTV फुटेज सार्वजनिक किया जाए। दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई हो। शाहीन, नफ़ीसा और जिनके साथ भी दिल्ली पुलिस ने हिंसा और बदतमीज़ी की है उनको न्याय मिले।

The truth is coming out.
The Election Commission claimed that the revised Form 6 had the approval of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Today, the Supreme Court has made it clear: “Modified Form 6 has not been approved by us.”

Then who authorised the change? Under what law? And why was the name of the Supreme Court invoked to justify it?

@RahulGandhi Ji has been consistently raising serious questions about the integrity of our electoral process. These questions can no longer be brushed aside.

The Election Commission is a constitutional institution, not an instrument of any government. The people of India deserve the truth, accountability and an election process beyond suspicion.

Tomorrow, the people of Nandigram and Rejinagar will cast their votes

In Nandigram, our Congress candidate Milan Pradhan is fighting strongly despite arrest, imprisonment and every attempt to obstruct his campaign. Even on the eve of polling, his bail was challenged—but neither Milan nor the Congress will step back.

In Rejinagar, BJP is playing a different game. AJUP is helping the BJP by dividing the anti-BJP vote, and I believe there is a political understanding between them. DTC/NCPI (fraction of TMC) workers too are reportedly being used as BJP booth agents. Different players, different roles—but the objective is the same: to weaken the Congress and benefit the BJP.

Let us remember: nationally, Congress is the political force directly confronting the BJP and its politics across India.

And tomorrow, all eyes will also be on the Election Commission. The entire country has seen the serious questions raised about its functioning. We therefore have every reason to demand absolute impartiality tomorrow.

No intimidation. No manipulation. No interference with the voter’s right. Let the people decide.
