@SpaceX has taken an agency mired in politics and bureaucracy, and re-instilled faith in the American can-do attitude. I know all future sailing won't be smooth, space is not without its challenges, but it reminds us of Kennedy's famous words... #SpaceX

@Rensontwitts@GoobyMayer@europa It's a bit more nuanced than that. The left is almost entirely bought and sold. The majority of those who still have some sense and aren't beholden to foreign "investors" are almost all on the right. Anyway, I was talking about voters. I used to be a Democrat myself.
@Rensontwitts@GoobyMayer@europa I mean, not right now... but under extreme liberalism it absolutely has. To be exact, modern-day liberals do not think critically, and they are very susceptible to influence from foreign disinformation campaigns as a result of their own narcissism (desire to be seen as saviors).
@Rensontwitts@GoobyMayer@europa I can't help but think how screwed up this is. Migrants are given a completely free pass unless they outright commit murder, and even then, let out early because (they didn't know any better), but the native population is heavily scrutinized and punished at every opportunity.
@PrimeTactiks@HistorianUSA1 Well, it was the only place that would give me a job, and it was minimum wage at the time. I wanted to work at CompUSA at the time, and they wouldn't hire me since I had no prior experience. I worked McDonalds for 11 months at $4.25, and then CompUSA hired me at $8.25 (late 90s)
@Agriculfuture Dude, that does not look safe. Those beams are in no way strong enough to hold up all the weight of those bricks. Even the slightest earthquake, and that is all coming down.
@OtakuHunt3r@luo_yuehan Literally every single "innovation" I see from these CCP pushers was stolen by an American or Japanese company 20+ years ago. Good on them for trying to revive something old, but they were not continued because they are all bad features that no one wants.
@LuvSeekinTruth@Eng_china5 Dude, the Chinese propaganda this account pushes is insane. Most of it are ideas that they stole from Japan or the US from like 20 years ago, that we decided were bad ideas and no one wanted.
@Hey_ross@FatJesusLive@dubseatv I used to have to fly there regularly for work, until the company moved their location to South Florida. I live in Tampa, so it's just a simple drive for me now. It's not the politics, but crime, drug proliferation, and homeless encampments. It was really bad...
@HistorianUSA1 I did the job of three people. When I worked drive through, I took the orders, got the food and bagged it, took the money, and handed the food to the driver, AND routinely dumped in new fries (or hash browns). I don't understand why this job is so difficult for people today. 2/2
@HistorianUSA1 I was a McDonalds employee when I was 16. I opened on the weekends with my boss. We arrived 30-45 minutes early, got everything ready, and I worked my ass off. I never treated people like that, and we never made people wait. It was EXTREMELY rare that I screwed up an order. 1/2
@remotecleanguy I guess I would just say, SAVE so that you can go on vacation. No one should be putting vacations on a credit card (I mean that metaphorically).
@Rainmaker1973 Bro, that's not a pond, it's the river Kwai. When I would go to Thailand, there was a restaurant cantilevered over the river, and man... they had awesome Chicken Cashew, but the bathroom had a squatter toilet over a hole in the floor... right into the river. I only had to piss.
