என் நெஞ்சில் குடியிருக்கும் அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்.

கட்சி ஆரம்பித்ததில் இருந்தே நம்மை ஏளனமாகப் பார்த்தவர்களும் பேசியவர்களுமே அதிகம். அரசியலில் இது இயல்பே என்றுதான் நாமும் அதைக் கடந்து வந்தோம். எவரையும் சாராமல், மக்களை மட்டுமே நம்பி, தேர்தல் களத்திலும் தில்லாக நின்றோம்.

நடுநிலை என்ற பெயரிலும் விமர்சனம் என்ற பெயரிலும் முகமூடி அணிந்த அவமானங்களும் அவதூறுகளுமே நமக்குப் பரிசளிக்கப்பட்டன. ஆனால், நாம் யாருக்கு நன்றிக் கடன் செலுத்த அரசியலுக்கு வந்தோமோ அவர்கள்… நம் சொந்தங்களாகிய நம் தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் நம்மை எப்போதும் தாயன்போடு தாங்கியே பிடித்து வந்தனர் - வருகின்றனர்.

அந்தத் தாயன்போடுதான் இந்தத் தேர்தலிலும் நமக்கு அளப்பரிய அன்புடன் அமோகமான வாக்குகளை அள்ளித் தந்துள்ளனர். இந்திய அரசியல் களத்தையே அதிர வைத்திருக்கும் இந்தத் தேர்தல் ஓர் அதிசயத் தேர்தல் என்றோம். அது பல்வேறு வகைகளிலும் நிரூபணமானது.

ஏராளமான காரணிகள் இருந்தாலும், குடும்பத்தையே தங்கள் அடரன்பால் வழிநடத்திய குழந்தைச் செல்வங்கள்தான் அதிசயத் தேர்தலுக்கான ஆழமான காரணிகளில் ஒன்றாக மாறி நிற்கின்றனர்.

ஒரு மாபெரும் மாற்றத்துக்கான இந்தத் தேர்தல் அரசியல் போரில் வென்றது நம் தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம் மட்டுமன்று. தமிழக மக்களின் மனங்களில் ஆசை ஆசையாக வளர்த்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான ஜனநாயகமும்தான். அதனால்தான் தமிழகத்தில் ஓர் அரசியல் கலாசாரமாகவே மாறி அச்சுறுத்திக்கொண்டிருந்த பணநாயகம் ஆழக் குழிதோண்டிப் புதைக்கப்பட்டது.

தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகம், மாற்றத்திற்கான மாபெரும் முதன்மைச் சக்தியான அரசியல் இயக்கம் என்பது, இதன் மூலம் ஆழமாகவும் அழுத்தமாகவும் நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நியாயமான, நேர்மையான பார்வை கொண்ட அனைவரும் இதை அப்படியே ஏற்பர் என்பதே அடர் உண்மை.

எக்காலத்திலும் நிகழவே நிகழாது என்றிருந்த மாற்றத்திற்கான அரசியல் வெற்றியை நிகழ்த்திக் காட்டிய தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களாகிய என் சொந்தங்களுக்கு என் வாழ்நாள் நன்றியைக் காணிக்கை ஆக்குகிறேன்.

நம் சொந்தங்களுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும் அதே வேளையில், நம் கழகத் தோழர்கள், அனைத்து நிலை நிர்வாகிகள், Virtual Warriors என உங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தனித்தனியாக என் நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றியறிதலைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.

இவ்வேளையில், நமக்கு இந்தத் தேர்தலில் வாக்களிக்க மறந்தாலும், எதிர்வரும் காலங்களில் நம்மை அதிகமாக நேசிக்கப் போகும் நம் சொந்தங்களுக்கும் என் அன்பைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.
