You must have heard names like Beatrix Potter, Norman Rockwell, and J. C. Leyendecker. These are artists from the Golden Age of American Illustrations. Why was it a golden age, and what exactly is that?

Jessie was known for her cherub-like, innocent children's illustrations. She worked for Good Housekeeping, especially in the 1920s.

Aside from the four, there were also women illustrators such as Jessie Willcox Smith, who were known for their atmospheric illustrations for novels like Little Women.
