Hey teacher friends! Please give my eighth grade student's new page a Follow! @Crime_Theory was built as her final project this semester to share her newly acquired knowledge from independent study. She'd love to gain a larger audience as she continues to grow her account!
Kudos to your proper reporting of this “wife and husband team” ownership @NWSL 🎉I had to reread that line bc it felt awkward at first🤦🏼♀️Hope more writers will take your editors lead & give proper♀️recognition to dismantle the patriarchy. And Im excited for KC & @brittanylynne8!!!
JJ is a mix of Greatest Showman, Wizard of Oz, & Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium! Stunning costumes & sets, fun musical numbers, deep messaging about repairing relationships, & more diversity than ever! @ForestWhitaker will amaze you!!!
The Halifax Common has an incredible new piece of public art recognizing our strong and diverse LGBTQ+ community. Public art like this make our city a more beautiful, inclusive place to live. Thanks and congratulations to artist Margot Durling and all who made this happen @hfxgov
@DrBradJohnson@MOEducation@MargieVandeven@MSTA enough bc we all know at local levels, teacher effectiveness is still tied to those results. Let’s lead the way with GA & redesign a better accountability system! We have a fantastic opportunity in this moment! I will volunteer to help in any way I can.
@DrBradJohnson@MOEducation@MargieVandeven@MSTA Lets focus on our childrens mental/emotional/physical health this yr! Along w catching up from springs missed instruction...And save tax dollars. MO teachers have proven we step up w/o standardized testing. “Hold Harmless” testing is NOT (cont)
@MsSakennia I understand if you can’t share it. Just trying to find any resources I can for the meetings. Trying to give the kids quality, professional examples & language as they develop their similar proposals. Praying for success at your meetings also!
@MsSakennia Can you share it possibly? Four of my teen students are developing the same through meetings with our city & school leaders as a response to their protests. They are being heard finally, but it’s pretty heavy lifting for 16 & 18 year olds.
This local young activist is going to take the world by storm! @NinaMDeJesus Follow her to see how she’s trying to impact change in her small, rural community. 1st up — a meeting with the mayor to discuss a Hate Speech policy & to help another young lady restore an AME cemetery!
This is striking: "On the most recent New York Times list of best-selling nonfiction in e-books and print, five of the Top 15 titles address racism. . .The week before, there were none."
