اولویت ما باید سقوط جمهوری اسلامی باشد

کنفرانس «همگرایی ملی برای ایران آزاد و دموکراتیک» یکشنبه ۳۱ خرداد ۱۴۰۵ با حضور شماری از فعالان سیاسی و مدنی و سیاستمداران آلمانی در شهر دوسلدورف آلمان برگزار شد. یکی از چهره‌های شناخته شده که برای این کنفرانس پیام ویدیویی داد شیرین عبادی، حقوقدان و برنده جایزه صلح نوبل بود.

به اعتقاد او «آنچه باعث شده که جمهوری اسلامی بعد از خیزش‌ها و دو جنگ سقوط نکند، مخالفت ما مردم ایران با یکدیگر است. همه ما باید اولویت خود را برای سقوط رژیم منحوس جمهوری اسلامی بگذاریم و بعد از سقوط رژیم در یک رأی‌گیری تحت نظارت سازمان ملل نوع رژیم آزادانه انتخاب خواهد شد.» عبادی تأکید کرد: «خوشبختانه آقای رضا پهلوی بارها اعلام کرده‌اند اولویتی برای خودشان به‌عنوان ولیعهد سابق قائل نیستد و به نتیجه رفراندوم احترام می‌گذارند.»

او تأکید کرد: «آنهایی که از استبداد در سلطنت می‌ترسند باید بدانند در لباس جمهوری و جمهوریت هم استبداد و دیکتاتوری ممکن است، جمهوری اسلامی در سال ۵۷ یا رژیم اسد چه بود؟»
