I feel very lucky 🌞 Thank you curator David Snels @kunsthal@yamunaforzani and everyone involved in Deep In Vogue (on til 13/03/2022) and thank you to my family for coming along X
A very proud little brother. I finally got to see my brother’s gown in person, a celebration of the history of ballroom culture, exhibited at the @kunsthal in Rotterdam.
Reaching the end of LGBT+ History Month, we bring you this feature on @AtelierAbdul 🌟 a bespoke fashion / costume design label by Abdul Hamid. Abdul has had an array of amazing experiences within the fashion and costume world.

My brother launched his portfolio today and it features images of this gown he made for the ballroom scene in 2019.
Sewn into the garment are iconic LGBTQ+ figures: Willi Ninja, Pepper La Beija, Octavia St Laurent and Dorian Corey. Stunning, overwhelming, I mean words cannot.
