We just finished our class for tonight at the @atelistech academy bootcamp.

Taught them how to create motion design using Canva.

We created this on the spot using just text, animation, gradient BG, audio effects and sound.

Our students are learning a lot from your classes already

I’m privileged to tutor a certain class of students on design.

The tool we use is of course Canva.

We are only 5, with me, the tutor, 6.

Now when I say certain class, I mean people who are Phd holders, academias and quite well to do😌

Before we started last week I was interested in their stories, in the reason they chose to learn design when they are already doing well, so I asked.

One story struck me!

He said, “I recently lost a good paying job because I didn’t have the skill of design. I was outsourcing but it didn’t work until I lost the job.”

Now I thought it’s a small job until he mentioned it’s a certain international organization that had him manage their social media account.

And similar were the stories of other students in my class.

And it made me realize how much design is needed in every aspect of life.

While you’re getting academic knowledge, skill may be the edge you will need some day.

These men are pursuing design.

And I’m so honored to tutor them🤭
