A billionaire businessman, oil magnate, and philanthropist from Delta State, Chief Dr. Daniel Omoyibo (Danmotech), went out casually to have his hair barbered at a saloon with two barbers.
When he explained the haircut to the first barber, he was charged 5k and he priced it at 2k which he believed to be the appropriate price. The first barber insisted on the price he gave and the man was about to leave when the other barber called him back saying 'It was still morning'. He agreed to the price.
While the man had his haircut, they interacted, and he got to know that he is from Kogi and working for the shop owner. When asked how much will set up his own barbing saloon, he mentioned 2-3million naira.
Danmotech sent him 5million naira immediately and asked him to set himself up. He also exchanged numbers with him for further assistance. The man was really emotional and couldn't believe it.

This is what you get when you are rude enough to tell Lagosians that their state and resources does not belong to them, you constantly remind Lagosians that Lagos is "No Man's Land" now the real owners of the land are fighting back quietly without noise but with the rule of Law either it's liable or not. The government of Lagos will always have the final say. When we tell them to stop disrespecting us they tell us to shut up. Now Lagos is fighting back, this is just the beginning I wonder what will happen in the first tenure of Hamzat as the Lagos State Governor. That man is a pure Yoruba man to the core and he will never tolerate any disrespect from the ibos that I am 100% sure of.
Many ibos will be forced to leave Lagos very soon and this is no joke. They have over stepped their boundaries with pride.
Ire ooo.

No President has ever been kind to pensioners like Pres. Tinubu. He didn’t just pay our arrears (of ages), he also paid the 10% increase on our pensions — NUP president
The President of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Godwin Abumisi, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as unprecedented support for pensioners across the country.
Speaking during an interview on News at 10 following the Federal Government’s clearance of N39.6 billion in pension arrears under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS), Abumisi said no previous Nigerian leader had matched Tinubu’s record on pension welfare.
“We are very happy with the present government. No president in Nigeria has achieved as much as His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu. No other president has achieved as much as he has done,” he said.
Highlighting the administration’s interventions, Abumisi added, “He has paid 10.6% arrears of pension increase amounting to N39.6 billion. He also made available the sum of N758 billion for arrears of pension and gratuity for PENCOM. He provided the sum of N58 billion for the payment of arrears of pension of those on DBS, the Defined Benefit Scheme.”
He continued, “No President has ever been kind to pensioners like Pres. Tinubu. He didn’t just pay our arrears (of ages), he also paid the 10% increase on our pensions.”
The NUP president also commended the government for ensuring the regular payment of pensions since Tinubu assumed office.
“This government is very much committed to the welfare of elderly citizens in Nigeria. Since he took over, Nigerian pensioners and elderly people have been paid their pensions regularly. We do not have any more problems as we usually do.”
Abumisi thanked the President on behalf of pensioners nationwide and expressed hope that more welfare measures would be introduced.
He also urged pensioners to support the current administration, saying, “We should be loyal to this government because no other government has done as much as he has done. We should make it possible for him to return back to his position by supporting his bid to come back.”
The answer has always been there in the open, and the man in question has never for once denied the obvious truth. Stop bothering yourself; you can never be more Catholic than the Romans. No one can be more IPOBic than Peter Obi.
Forty-seven years ago, on this day, Nigeria secretly began the process of the punitive takeover of one of the then-largest foreign corporations operating in Nigeria.
The process was finalised on Monday, July 30, 1979, when General Olusegun Obasanjo, in his capacity as Chairman of the Supreme Military Council, Head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, ordered the nationalisation of British Petroleum in Nigeria in retaliation for what the Federal Military Government of Nigeria saw as support of the then Government of the United Kingdom for Apartheid South Africa's treatment of the Black South African population and the treatment of Black African population of Southern Rhodesia, now known as the Republic of Zimbabwe, by the minority government of Ian Smith.
At the time the Federal Republic of Nigeria made that decision, the United Kingdom was Nigeria's largest trading partner.
General Olusegun Obasanjo timed the announcement to coincide with the height of the 1979 energy crisis, which saw a dramatic increase in fuel prices in Europe and America, with queues common and costs more than doubling.
The decision by General Obasanjo was announced on the eve of the 1979 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Zambia, and the unexpected, as well as dramatic, nature of Nigeria's surprise announcement deeply impacted British foreign policy, resulting in an immediate shift towards support for majority rule in both the Republic of South Africa and Southern Rhodesia.
When the decision was taken by the Supreme Military Council, a young man named Thabo Mbeki, who had been living in Lagos, Nigeria, since 1977, was reported by the media to have been "overwhelmed with joy". The cerebral Mr Mbeki stayed in Nigeria until 1984 and went on to become President of the Republic of South Africa in 1999.
Indeed, the first two Presidents of the Republic of South Africa both lived in Nigeria at some point in their lives. Nelson Mandela lived in Nigeria between 1962 and 1963, where he was sequestered in the home of Nigeria's then Aviation Minister, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi.
This underscores that Nigeria is a courageous nation with leaders who believe in Pan-Africanism, not as a romantic idea but as an actionable concept for which, historically, we have been willing to make difficult economic decisions.
For this and other reasons, I am proud of Nigeria, especially for its ability to see the larger picture of Pan-Africanism.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its people. In good times and bad times, we are a nation that is always on the side of the African continent and its people.

FALSE ₦1.7 TRILLION ALLEGATION EXPOSED!
Imagine accusing someone who's not holding any public office of diverting ₦1.7 trillion in FAAC allocations and then expecting everyone to just run with it.
Weeks later, even the dullards called OBIDIENTS have quietly moved on because they know that allegations of such magnitude require extraordinary proof before they can start celebrating with it
Dear Dan Bello, Social media is not a courtroom. If you can't prove it, don't be surprised if the courtroom becomes your next destination. Influencing for clout is profitable until the person whose reputation you've damaged decides to seek legal redress.
Patronizing these vendors is not an act of charity; it is an act of economic solidarity and structural respect. It is an acknowledgement that no matter how micro the scale of an honest trade, it is infinitely superior to dependent poverty.
Some blocked me after getting upset because I broke down economic policies.
Now they're entering my DMs with burner accounts, asking to be unblocked because they've seen govt empowerment updates on my page and want to benefit.
