AL-’ALEEM & AL-HAKEEM, are names almost always paired together. One of the implication is that the He knows all of the alternative histories in your life. He knows all of the near infinite possibilities of what your story COULD’VE been, but this is exactly how your story SHOULD play out.
AL-‘ALEEM (The All-Knowing) : He is the one who knows what will happen before it does. He knows what you’re going through when no one else does. He knows all the “Whats”.
AL-HAKEEM (The All-Wise) : He who allows it hapkpen anyway, but for a greater purpose. He knows the purpose of your going through it, even when you don’t. He knows all the “Whys”
AL-LATIF & AL-KHABEER are also always paired together.
AL-LATIF (The Kind) : He is the ever subtle, gentle and kind.
“Does He who created everything not know what He created? That is the grand plan, and He is the Ever-Subtle, Ever Aware.”
(Qur’an, 67:14)
He is who delivers His gentleness, His grace and His Kindness but through hidden paths.
“Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and then the earth becomes green? Surely Allah is the Most Subtle, All-Aware.” (Qur’an, 22:63)
AL-KHABEER (The All-Aware) : He is the one who knows the inside and the outside, the cause and the consequence of everything. Al-Khabeer has access to your otherwise unrecorded thoughts and feelings then sends you signs to repent based on the intelligence He has on you. He alone records your hidden intentions.
And please, let these names rescue you from a common trap. Hold yourself accountable to your deeds, not Allah accountable to your understanding of His decree.
May these names be beneficial to us all.🤍 —Ep. 17, The Name I need
