🔹Introduction of the national minimum wage
🔹Major labour law reform
🔹Establishment of SDFC (loans)
🔹Establishment of Authentic Maldives (which has since expanded across Maldives and into international shipping)
🔹Regularisation of 40,000 workers during the pandemic and reformed quota processing
🔹Covid-19 income support and loan scheme (grocery stores, startups, taxi drivers, fishermen, tailors, photographers etc. PNC MP @IbrahimShujaau’s Official Events also got gov assistance up to a million MVR during the pandemic)
🔹Creation of co-working space (SEED)
🔹Organising the largest local talent expo (Fannu Expo) and an int’l expo in Dubai
🔹Modernisation of SME law
🔹Marketplace for SMEs (@em_saeed converted it to non functioning Development Bank and many people lost their income due to this).

Through SDFC and Business Centre support services, he helped establish hundreds of new businesses in Maldives. He was also instrumental in preventing many small businesses from going bankrupt during the pandemic.

He also served as interim Minister of Tourism and Minister of Technology for a brief period, during which he worked to reduce internet prices a goal that was later achieved and also the submarine cable (now paused by Muizzu’s incompetent gov).
