People within the current administration here in the US are still willing to roast themselves alive to endorse a lie. @RepJames@RepJamesComer@SFRCdems@LemkinInstitute@Joe__Bassey They want to convince you of the lie to continue to pursue their horrendous foreign policy maneuvers in Africa and to re-install a puppet regime loyal to the will of the west. All while trying to cover up and deny a genocide that has been occurring since the 1980’s against the Amhara people of Ethiopia. WELKAIT, ETHIOPIA - APRIL 07, 2022: A view of the town of Adi Selam on April 07, 2022 in Welkait, Ethiopia. According to Addisu Mamaye Ayane, ethnic Amharas from the Welkait-Tegede community and all over Welkait were bought to the prison known as Gehennab to be imprisoned, tortured and/or executed. Addisa alleges that newer parts of the town may have been built on top of mass graves. Residents of the town have reported that in the process of digging wells or starting construction projects that they would always find human remains. Community leaders, prominent individuals and patriots were targeted for imprisonment and execution at Gehennab from at least 1985 forward until 1991 when the TPLF gained control of the entire country and began using other prisons and torture sites. Members of the Welkait-Tegede community and others throughout Welkait were murdered because of their ethnicity. The torture camp at Gehennab began operating 37 years ago in 1985 when the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) occupied Welkait as they fought against the Derg Regime before gaining control of the country in 1991. Welkait was Amhara land for as much as 1000 years prior to 1991 when the region was annexed and incorporated into Tigray by the TPLF. The discovery of multiple mass graves and extermination camps has been taking place over the past year after the TPLF was pushed out of Welkait. (Photo by J. Despite Ambassador @MikeHammerUSA's attempt, during his recent testimony to the US Congress, to downplay the genocidal and war crimes committed by Abiy Ahmed's genocidal army against the Amhara people in Ethiopia, stating that the 'army is no longer engaging in a pattern of gross human rights violations', @hrw has exposed his consistent and blatant denial of the suffering of the Amhara people. @hrw has just published evidence of Abiy Ahmed's army summarily executing scores of Amhara civilians in Merawi in late January and February.

This is the story of tens of thousands of Amhara youth in Ethiopia under Abiy Ahmed.
This is Habtamu Sete. Habtamu was born and raised in Woldya Town, Amhara region. He had an undergraduate degree in language and literature from Debrebaran University. This year, he completed his master’s degree at Wollo University. Habtamu was a teacher at Hamusit Secondary School, North Wollo. His friends remember him as a decent and well-behaved young man.
Recently, Abiy Ahmed's killer squad abducted Habtamu from Woldiya. For five days, no one knew his whereabouts. After five days, he returned home badly beaten &abused.
Not long after he returned home, this young man took his own life.
He couldn’t live with the trauma of whatever the Abiy killer squad did to him.

Fano is who willingly campaigns; he arose; he became upright; he was raised up; he stood; he wore his tail; he fled; he campaigned without being told to do so; chiefless campaigner; thirsty to quell rebellion.#IAmFano#AmharaGenocide#AmharaResistance
Fanoism was prevalent during the eras of the Romans, Byzantium, the Ummayads, the Renaissance, and colonization. Fanoism inspired the Ethiopian patriots when they drove the Italians out of their homeland! #AmharaResistance#IAmFano#FanoSolidarity
