One of the perks of being jobless is it makes you very observant.

A lot of the pain women experience the first time comes from anxiety (especially when you’ve been constantly told to expect pain), pelvic floor muscles tightening up, not enough arousal or lubrication, or rushing penetration.

Mild discomfort is normal because it’s a new experience, but severe pain is not.

Lots of foreplay (at least 20 minutes), using lube, staying relaxed, using the shallowing technique and going at your own pace can help a lot.

And please, never force penetration through pain.
