@lostinganglia @DandelionQueen8 @God_Questioner They have really vague ambiguous ones e.g. In Matthew 24, Jesus says that before the end times, people will hear of "wars and rumors of wars" and experience "famines and earthquakes in various places." When has there been times without these though?

Outside mathematics and formal logic, we generally deal in degrees of evidential support rather than absolute proof. In law, “proof” refers to meeting an established evidential standard.

@RainbowzZz9 @EclipseNine @Tsar_Martyr Saying “I don’t believe” is technically a claim about your own mental state, but it isn’t a claim about whether God exists. So yes, it carries no burden to disprove God. I was using atheism in the stronger sense of “God doesn’t exist,” which does make a claim about reality.

That’s why the ocean can curve around the Earth while remaining level everywhere.

I like truth and to point out people’s inconsistencies if you view that as an attack what does that say about you? Notice you get personal and I rise above.
