i want to cry because writer kim ranjoo immediately jumped in after seonho answered the reporter’s question, and you could tell he was a bit shocked when she did. them he smiled and thanked her for the answer. 😭

Senior actor instagram post with Kim Seonho 🥹
“// We have finished everything up to the final “D-Care scan” process.
During filming in Vietnam, we didn’t have any free time, so we couldn’t even take a single commemorative photo. After completing the final D-Care process in Korea, I took a commemorative photo with one of the lead actors, Kim Seon-ho, a truly genuine man.
I’m also curious about how my role in the drama will be portrayed when it is released as an OTT series in the second half of this year.
Actor Kim Seon-ho, thank you for your hard work.

Kim Seonho’s Vietnamese interpreter shared moments when they worked together in Vietnam during the filming of #PortraitsofDelusion 🥹
“On the last day of the year, while tidying up the house, I also cleaned out the photo album on my phone. I suddenly came across some casual snapshots from the ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ series and ended up thinking about that dimpled oppa. Then it hit me that I still hadn’t written a proper review about him for the girls in the fan club 🥹
That day was the last Saturday morning of November, and also the first time he set foot in Vietnam (so does that mean I was the first Vietnamese person to talk to him in Vietnam? ^^). I still remember that after we greeted each other and introduced ourselves, I said, “At the end of March, I was still sitting there crying while watching your WLGYT series, and I never imagined that eight months later I’d get to meet you in person like this.” After hearing that, oppa thanked me for loving the series. A little later, when his manager got into the car, he introduced me, “Junsu, this is Minh, our interpreter” 😉
My first impression was that he was very friendly and always listened attentively whenever someone talked about Vietnam and Hanoi. And at those moments, he would smile brightly, showing off his dimples. He even said to me, “Wow, it’s rare in life to eat this well—this is so delicious, Minh.” When we went out to eat, he always let the manager and interpreter go first, and whenever there was a plate with just one piece left, he’d insist that the manager and I finish it.
There was a day when we agreed to meet at 11:30, but he only came down at 1 p.m. He apologized profusely, saying it was because he’d stayed up all night watching a series (the final version of ‘Can This Love Be Translated’). And on days when filming went on until midnight or even 5 a.m., as soon as he got out of the car, he would bow and say, “You’ve worked so hard,” before heading up to his room. Overall, it was clear how polite and considerate he was toward the staff.
He was also surprisingly enthusiastic about the plans I suggested. For example, when I said that in autumn people often go near the Cathedral to eat cốm and have coffee, he immediately agreed and went. Or if it was the first day of the month and I suggested having vegetarian food and visiting a pagoda, he nodded yes right away 😆. Once, after having egg coffee, I pointed out that across the street there was sugarcane juice with durian, and he was like, “Sure, let’s go.” But when we got there and they said the durian was sold out, his face instantly looked so disappointed…
Another time, after eating and strolling around Hoàn Kiếm Lake, he said, “Let’s just call a car for me to go back to the hotel. The weather is nice today, but everyone is working so hard rehearsing (*for The Play ‘Secret Passage’), I can’t just come to Vietnam and enjoy myself alone like this.” On a different day, he wanted to go to a railway café. I gave him two options: one on Trần Phú–Điện Biên Phủ where the train passes extremely close but it’s dangerous, and the other to watch from afar at Long Biên Station. He chose to sit on the fourth floor and watch the train from a distance. When we got there, he went out onto the balcony and practiced his lines (*for The Play ‘Secret Passage’) while waiting for the train. He truly loves his work. As for me, I didn’t even buy a ticket but still got to “sneak a peek” at part of it ^^
All in all, after spending some time accompanying him, I felt that he was really, really friendly and warm (once the three of us even shared one cup of ice cream at Thuỷ Tạ because the vendor mixed up the order ><), incredibly passionate about his profession (always checking his film, singing, and so on while in the car), and very responsible about his work (even while having coffee at Long Biên, he kept practicing diligently). So I wish him continued success always 😘”
