Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
I love animals. All of them. Even the ugly ones. Because I believe in the inherent value of all life.
But I also killed an entire colony of cockroaches yesterday, around 50 60, because they kept popping up near my plants and were ruining the aesthetic.
Am I a bad person?
@megha_lilly Please stop already. It's okay to admit you're wrong sometimes. It won't belittle you. You don't have to double down and keep arguing for no reason.
Let it go.
ChatGPT gave me really bad advice for snake plants. It told me to plant them in a large pot when snake plants thrive in smaller containers. AI is only good for vibe coding and having a Yes man in your pocket.
Iโve started a new hobby. Gardening. Itโs so tiring but so rewarding at the same time. Looking at these tiny green plants growing in their tiny orange pots does something to my brain. It makes me forget all the meaningless things I was stressing about for no reason.
