Maria Bartiromo has been fired from Fox News after she was about to report on China's involvement in the 2020 stolen election. She was working with the White House to prepare this story. Maria has hired a high profile attorney. This is a developing story, but I would like to point out that the White House never went through Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters or Sean Hannity to get this story out. The Office of Legal Counsel has issued a legal opinion clarifying that when a state chooses to participate in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) programs, all agencies within that state — not only those that administer TANF or SSI benefits — must report individuals known to be not lawfully present in the United States to @DHSgov.

WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING INSIDE GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS SINCE 2021?

I’ve been going back through GCPS records, and there is a timeline Gwinnett parents and taxpayers should know about.

JULY 2021

Muslim brotherhood linked Rahim Shah Akhunkhail, chair of Muslims of USA (MOUSA) and later founder of Voices of Muslims, appeared before the Gwinnett County Board of Education.

This isn’t speculation.

The OFFICIAL School Board minutes state that Akhunkhail:

“provided Board members with information on the partnership between Gwinnett County Public Schools and the Gwinnett Muslim Delegation.”

That raises an obvious question:

What exactly was this “partnership,” and who comprised the Gwinnett Muslim Delegation?

Then look at what developed over the following years.

2021 — HALAL FOOD

Muslim community advocates pushed GCPS to provide halal-certified food.

GCPS subsequently piloted halal-certified hamburgers at five schools and later expanded halal burgers districtwide.

2022–2023 — EID ADVOCACY

Muslim students and community members advocated for Eid al-Fitr to become a school holiday.

A petition gathered thousands of signatures, and the issue reached the School Board.

GCPS eventually offered families calendar options that included days off for Eid.

The community ultimately selected a calendar without the additional religious holidays.

RAMADAN ACCOMMODATIONS

GCPS began issuing guidance to schools concerning students fasting during Ramadan, including alternative lunch locations and accommodations involving strenuous physical activity.

2025 — RAMADAN TAKE-HOME MEALS

GCPS announced that eligible Muslim students fasting during Ramadan could receive breakfast and lunch to take home and consume after sunset.

The district says this was authorized under a USDA waiver and that students could not receive both the regular cafeteria meal and the take-home meal.

2025 — VOICES OF MUSLIMS & SCHOOL BOARD LEADERSHIP

Voices of Muslims hosted an event at Madina Institute featuring then-GCPS Board Chair Adrienne Simmons.

That event occurred during the broader period when GCPS was conducting community engagement surrounding its superintendent search.

I have NOT established that the Voices of Muslims event was an official superintendent-search engagement session. So she’s having meetings without the minutes. Looks like there could be a sunshine law violation. 

That is something I’m continuing to investigate.

2026- RELIGIOUS ACCOMMODATIONS

GCPS currently says schools may provide students with space for prayer or reflection when possible. That includes prayer rugs and Quran’s in the school library. 

His 2021 appearance gives taxpayers a legitimate question that GCPS should answer:

What was the “partnership between Gwinnett County Public Schools and the Gwinnett Muslim Delegation”?

Who belonged to the delegation?

What meetings occurred?

What requests were made?

Were any organizations given formal access to GCPS leadership?

Were donations, services or materials exchanged?

And does this partnership still exist?

This isn’t about rumors.

It’s about PUBLIC RECORDS.

If outside religious or advocacy organizations of ANY religion/dangerous ideology have formal partnerships with a taxpayer-funded school district, parents deserve to know exactly what those relationships involve.
