The framing of this shot from the new Avatar Aang movie is absolute poetry.

Notice how Aang is placed in the foreground, out of focus. He is no longer just their friend; he is the Avatar they are sworn to protect and stand by.

The warm, golden hour lighting signifies the dawn of a completely new era for the Four Nations. Studio Mir didn’t just animate a scene they painted a legacy.

Imagine how embarrassing it must be for Zuko to hear that every time from the reincarnation of his great-grandfather 😂

100% Aang wrote the letter like that on purpose. He knew someone would have to read it out loud in front of everyone, and he couldn’t resist making Zuko cringe a little 😂
