@DKThomp@ramez@vkhosla The episode I needed. Thanks!😀 And don't give up on cellular agriculture just yet. We need to start with seafood before we get down the cost curve to beef and chicken. The Roadster had to come before the Model 3 (and every other exciting new EV on the road).
@friedberg just heard the All-in episode. Thanks for awesome breakdown of the three pillars of #altprotein. Industry will hit price parity w/ seafood before chicken, pork, or even beef. To have real impact, the order matters... the roadster had to come before the Model 3
Thanks @indbio for accelerating our development of cultivated seafood….and for sharing our pitch from demo day!! #altprotein#cellularagriculture https://t.co/c8maGUKk5N
We’ll be sharing how we see the future of #cultivatedseafood 🐟🐠 at The Future of Protein Production Summit.
Have a look at the rest of the agenda and register today. I hope to see you there!

That's a wrap! Demo day at @indbio was amazing, and appreciate all the support to accelerate us to developing #cultivated seafood. https://t.co/xR2qpNiItf
@elliotswartz @jgryall That’s interesting. So two different products with similar gen mod would have different outcomes based on the regulator they go through. Seems like a loophole (for poultry) or an over burdensome requirement ( for fish)
@Steven_Molino Is there any nuance for you on #12 valuation approach for plant based vs fermentation vs cell-ag. DCF against a technology with less IP (plant based ) vs cell-ag (more IP and presumably more defensible, better acquisition target)
@_HannahRitchie This is great. Would it be possible to add seafood to this analysis? Similar graphics have shown that shrimp have the biggest carbon footprint for all seafood, but not sure about underlying assumptions on that data.
@elliotswartz Thanks for doing such a detailed analysis. Sounds like you think the TERT expression will get labeled as GMO. What are the factors they will likely consider for that determination?
