The Wall Street Journal reports that Ukrainian drone operators effectively wiped out a U.S. armored brigade in a major war exercise in Germany — scoring simulated kills so quickly that American vehicles had to repeatedly be “re-spawned” just to keep the exercise going.

Around 3,500 U.S. personnel, primarily from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, took part in Combined Resolve against Ukrainian drone operators from the elite 412th Nemesis unit.

The problem became obvious almost immediately.

Heavy American armored vehicles kicked up massive clouds of dust, making them easy for Ukrainian reconnaissance drones to locate. Bomber drones and FPVs then moved in for simulated kills.

The Americans adapted — dispersing their armor, improving concealment and making greater use of electronic warfare.

Then came perhaps the most valuable part of the exercise:

The Ukrainians switched sides and began teaching the Americans how to employ drones offensively.

After more than four years of fighting Russia, Ukraine has accumulated something money cannot quickly buy:

Battlefield experience in the kind of drone war every major military may soon have to fight.

The lesson from Germany is difficult to ignore:
The battlefield changed faster than some of the world’s most powerful militaries did.

Des dizaines de combattants du Hezbollah ainsi que des conseillers militaires iraniens sont actuellement pris au piège dans un vaste complexe souterrain hautement fortifié sous la crête d’Ali al-Taher, près de Nabatiyé, au Sud-Liban.

Selon L’Orient-Le Jour et plusieurs sources militaires, Tsahal contrôle désormais la surface de la crête et encercle le réseau de tunnels. Des robots télécommandés sont déployés afin d’éviter des combats rapprochés dans ce complexe profondément enfoui.

L’élément le plus sensible concerne la présence iranienne. Des officiers et agents de la Force Al-Quds des Gardiens de la révolution se trouvent bloqués aux côtés des hommes du Hezbollah afin de coordonner la défense du site.

Le complexe appartient à l’unité Badr du Hezbollah et a été construit avec une aide technique directe de l’Iran. Il servait notamment au stockage et au lancement de missiles guidés et de drones vers le nord d’Israël.

La crête d’Ali al-Taher, située à environ 600 mètres d’altitude au nord du Litani, domine une large partie de la région de Nabatiyé et constitue un verrou stratégique majeur.

D'après les dernières informations, l'armée israélienne a coupé l'alimentation en eau du complexe souterrain fortifié. Dans le même temps, les tentatives du Hezbollah pour acheminer clandestinement de l'eau, de la nourriture et du matériel aux terroristes assiégés à l'aide de drones ont été déjouées.

📌 La présence d'officiers supérieurs des Gardiens de la révolution iraniens dans ces souterrains est d'autant plus préoccupante que l'Iran ne peut se permettre de les voir exposés ou capturés vivants par Israël.

A 68-year-old California retiree was stabbed to death outside his Bay Area home, allegedly by an illegal immigrant who had been released from jail just one day earlier.

Police say Todd Stewart encountered 36-year-old Venezuelan national Marcos Arrante Valdez during an alleged burglary. According to the report, Valdez had two prior burglary cases and had been released by the courts twice.

DHS is now calling on California officials to keep Valdez in custody and turn him over to ICE. Valdez is expected to be arraigned this afternoon.
