@Arjmurali3@ShishirShelke1 What hype are you talking about? I don’t think anybody normal is hyping that it’s an iPhone, they’re hyping that it’s in SPACE, on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MOON
@Walmart@walmarthelp found what appears to be a small, rusty metal rod inside a pack of chicken breast tenderloins I purchased from your store the other day. You should be aware of this in case it happened more than once and somebody else doesn’t notice it
@spolive @durreadan01 would be terrible. Material 3 is the most bland corporate "trying to be fun" design language ever made.
Material 1 was flat but at least it looked sophisticated
@Samoneui8 Honestly it's a waste of time. Ironic that the people who obsess over tuning these animations to make them look like things in the real world, don't actually go outside and see the real world very much. Buy an iPhone, go outside and touch grass, connect with people in real life.
@GoRavens1008@AnxiousHolly I think all the flagship iPhones have 120hz now, don't they? And they're all LTPO too, which is the best mainstream variant of the 120hz VRR technology.
@DonnPrompt@AnxiousHolly Even though Android does support Aptx and LDAC, it's system audio mixer still has a lot of problems. All audio going through your phone gets resampled to 48KHz, so 44.1KHz (Spotify, YouTube, most others) and 96/192KHz (Tidal) loses a lot of detail and gets distorted.
@ChinoL0C0@AnxiousHolly Siri majorly sucks. It's so bad. Thank God for ChatGPT on the action button, but it's still only a half-fix. Gemini is still on top.
No circle to search is also big. Visual Intelligence is worse in nearly every capacity.
But iOS does have good back gestures, I will say that.
@ZZCOOL@AnxiousHolly To be fair, neither will Android. Most Android phones now don't allow bootloader unlocking, and unsigned app installation wont be possible with an update coming next year.
@TahaTechYT@AnxiousHolly What I'll miss from Galaxy when I switch:
Circle to search
Gemini
Clipboard
GBoard
The rest listed here are either things I don't use, things I can live without, or things that iOS also does well.
@AnxiousHolly I'm a long-time Samsung user switching to the iPhone 17 Pro. All my family, and almost all my friends are all on iPhone, so it's mainly for Apple's connectivity and app optimization. But I'll miss Gemini, Circle-to-Search, and GBoard. We'll see how it goes.
