Jag satt helt seriöst och gapade.

Att se Tesla Roadstern köra upp för en ramp till den står helt UPP OCH NER, skjuta ifrån sig i luften, rotera runt till rätt håll och sen bara landa mjukt på marken... Det är bland det mäktigaste jag någonsin sett inom bil- och teknikvärlden. Vi lever bokstavligen i framtiden.

Man hade ju hoppats för en sekund på lite entusiasm eller ren barnslig fascination i svensk TV. Men icke. Slår man på TV4 så har de plockat in en överbetald motorredaktör som sitter och låter som en deprimerad besiktningsman. Ingen glädje, inga visioner, bara ren svensk avundsjuka.

USA:s utrikesminister går alltså ut och säger rakt ut att västvärlden har tappat det. Att ordet "nationalism" blev ett skällsord, att vi lärde oss att skämmas över vår egen historia, rev våra monument och gladeligen lämnade över vår suveränitet till globala institutioner.

Han uppmanar Europa att vakna upp, ställa om försvaret, säkra gränserna och faktiskt våga stå upp för sin egen styrka igen.
