Not my ancestors, but nice try. My dad immigrated with virtually no money and worked his ass off making something of himself. They fled persecution.
Stop blaming asshole racists from forever ago for the reason someone is in an unsavory situation now. Everyone is in control of their own decisions and can influence the outcome of their own life.
Does ANYONE with an opposing view have any arguments that don't scream "Racist! White supremacist! Fascist!"?
It's exhausting, doesn't land, and is an overused and weak argument.
There are white supremacists, sure, but you'll find far more of them on Team Liberal than you will anywhere else. The white guilt/white savior complex they all have, constantly assuming people of other races need saving by them is an affront. "Black people can't get ID" and "Black kids don't know what a computer is" and all these false assumptions that other races can't do things for themselves is HINDERING the success of these populations. It's painting a picture of other races to try to make them look inferior... to show they need saving.
For instance, this cradle-to-the-grave welfare system we have. One of the shining beacons of the Democrat party. Every election, Democrats pull out the welfare messaging, targeting people of color. "Vote for us and your welfare checks will just keep coming." They love handing money to certain populations, knowing it will get them the votes in that cycle. They keep people on welfare as a strategy. No sweeping plans to help or incentives to pave a path to success that get people off it. And it disproportionately impacts people of color and the family structure, giving more money to single parents.
The actions and speech of non-liberals is consistently trying to counter that. We want all people to be treated the same. We want all people to have the same opportunities and benefits this country has to offer. We just believe that it's on the individual to put in work if they want to advance in life (who gives a shit about what the color of their skin is?). Your skin color shouldn't be anyone's business if you put in the work. But your skin color (ANY skin color) shouldn't give you a leg up or special treatment.
2019 was the last year they fully tabled the data, showing the numbers I laid out. During the transition in the reporting method, and after it fully realized in 2021, they stopped reporting by clear metrics. However, data remained consistent, though not aggregated on a national level. You can still query it on their website, but it's not easily available and difficult to extrapolate.

If you were paying attention, you would have realized that I'm not speaking about all black people. I was making a sarcastic comment on her take of the situation. It's absurd to think that Karmelo Anthony did nothing wrong. And FYI, I would have said EXACTLY the same thing about whites had the situation been flipped.
It's a ridiculous thing to say, and I was calling it out. But sure, call me a racist if it makes you feel better.
@RNCVoteProtect This must be the "Okay, yes... it's happening. But it's a good thing and how dare you, you bigot" phase of the "It's not happening" cycle.
@ClaireFosterPHD Love that people in this thread post serious answers, attacking you not realizing your posts are parody. All it takes is a quick look at your profile and half a brain to figure it out.
That is a disingenuous argument and you know it, sir. You're counting on your followers and dumb people to not know any better and to not do any research.
HE doesn't get that money. His COMPANY gets that money because they won government contracts. How? Because they build better things for a cheaper price. He's actually saving the government money, you dishonest prick. But you knew that, didn't you?
She can get bent, Ms. Propaganda-Pushing Bullshit Artist. As a person born in the south and raised (mostly) in the south, I can tell you his experience doesn't surprise me at all. She's taking the "backwoods, low-IQ, simpleton, racist" stereotype she sees in movies and TV and is applying it to real life. The south is full of amazing people and is highly multicultural.
I'm so tired of people's completely incorrect perception of the south.
