The Burmese military is now executing political prisoners, yet still foreign Secretary Liz Truss @trussliz allows a member of the Burmese military to live in London, reporting back to his masters. Tell Liz Truss to kick him out now.

The junta's execution of 4 pro-democracy activists in #Burma is a grievous violation of intl. law, enabled by a culture of impunity
The junta's impunity has been emboldened by lack of action from ASEAN & intl. community
#Myanmar needs stronger #sanctions & accountability NOW!
Junta run media reports this morning that they has conducted death-sentenced to 4 citizens including pro-democracy activists Phyo Zayar Thaw and Kyaw Min Yu (Jimmy), a day after video conferencing with their family members.

For 10 years, Rohingya have been forced to live in cramped, squalid camps in Myanmar.
Hear from three women living in them about how hopelessness, economic challenges and violence underline their mental health struggles.

Please check out my new piece, "Myanmar Military's culture of atrocities." I think, "The military’s most recent atrocities are thus not an aberration but rather a historical pattern emanating from its institutional culture," and I tried to explore it.

Blinken
- said no positive movement on Myanmar crisis, repression continues
- blasted military leaders, also for worsening humanitarian crisis & non-delivery of emergency aid
- took aim at ASEAN’s failure to convince military of 5-point consensus plan https://t.co/ODhV2FTLWr
In a meeting with @ABlinken, I have raised -
1/ Sanctions/Aids r reactive actions, countries like US must take proactive & assertive actions
2/ Federal Democracy is no longer a demand in #Myanmar but a political REALITY now
Fighting and airstrikes in eastern Bago have not gotten much media attention. KNU has mostly been quietly re-establishing its gov' system and responding to requests from the public in areas where SAC retreated. But combat is now also increasing.

We are fighting for our Ta’ang people’s liberation.... The Spring Revolution also emerged for the liberation of the people. Our lives and their lives are the same. So, they are our revolution partners.

@thinzashunleiyi urges the US to impose sanctions on state-owned MOGE - "a simple step" that would cut $1.5b in annual gas revenues the illegal #Myanmar junta uses to fuel its devastating war against the Myanmar people. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar#MyanmarToo

We've heard news that the Myanmar Embassy in Malaysia have not been returning the passports of some ppl suspected of supporting the revolution. They refuse to issue statements, neither confirming or denying, leaving people in limbo. Who's going to protect them?
I couldn't believe just today, Thai police in #Maesot#TakProvince asked for 20,000 Baht (600 USD) from a refugee parent of a kindergarten kid in their return from the school.
Parents were threatened to b charged & sent back to #Myanmar if they don't pay. How brutal!😡
