Mohun Bagan SG have re-called their players from the national team camp. 👀 #90ndstoppage
None of them to travel to London tonight for the Unity Cup 2026. ❌
🔴🟡 The rivalry belongs on the field… but blood and humanity come first.
East Bengal vs. Mohun Bagan is our pride, our emotion, our identity. But today, there is no derby — there is only a little sister fighting for her life.
Ritanya (nickname Rai) is just 11 years old. She is a proud Mohun Bagan supporter. And we are the East Bengal family. But above all colors and rivalries, we are one Bengali family — united by the same blood and humanity.
Rai is currently battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and is in a critical condition in the ICU at Apollo Multispeciality Hospital, Kolkata. After a previous bone marrow transplant and prolonged treatment, her family has exhausted all their savings. Now, nearly ₹40 lakhs are urgently required to continue her life-saving treatment. Even the cost of essential medicines to keep her stable has become unbearable.
Her father, Sayanta De Sarkar, lovingly calls her “Rai” because she was born on the same day as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Today, that father has only one wish — to see his daughter recover, return to life, and once again cheer loudly for her favourite team.
Today, let’s raise our voices not for a derby, but for humanity.
We humbly request everyone to donate as much as you can. No amount is small. Your contribution can help bring Rai back to life and back to the stands to cheer again.

Today, we are not rivals.
