This was one of the most fun projects for me.
Unlike other approaches, I manually picked 12 ramps using @atmos_style; and extrapolated a higher dimension mesh that interpolates colors in between.
This makes it highly scalable, easy to maintain and keeps it lightweight.
The 2025 Color of the Year is Mocha Mousse (PANTONE 17-1230)—a warm, earthy brown that’s cozy yet sophisticated. ☕️ Are you loving it or craving something bolder? 🎨

LCH colors fix so much
you can actually do a formulaic computed color scheme where a single color is an input
HSL worked ish but this fixes the inconsistency
Easing curves have been one of the most requested features for @atmos_style ever since we released the Playground (LCH or OKLCH color editor).
