@OSINTWarfare Comes out to $72,351 per unit. Even with training and whatnot it's still a very high price. I have been seeing the same trend actoss all western military equipment. Can't really rearm or build up when everything suddenly costs 3x more.
@EGYOSINT I can see these nets working against smaller quadcopter drone, but a couple of shahed drones would blast it open and it wouldn't matter for ballistic missiles.
@TrueSlazac Their propaganda is solely reliant on western media taking israel's word as absolute and undeniable fact. the less people care about legacy media and the easier it is for real information to spread, the harder it is for israel to have good PR.
@OSINTWarfare I wonder how much the Majid costs Iran to make, during the war I heard people saying iran is going all in on mass producing it, can't imagine it would cost Iran more than 1 million dollars.
@HEMemarian The price is still ridiculous, if indigenous production and tech transfer were the goal, the KF-21 would've been the best option. S.Korea is very open to tech transfer and manufacturing deals. they could've jointly developed an engine and got 200+ planes for the same price.
@IRGC_dono@cirnosad . . . It's a great deal for iran as it legitimize their control, But it could also be a trick to allow the ships suck inside to leave.
@IRGC_dono@cirnosad Ships pay Iran to enter, I assume Oman wouldn't even be getting a cut of this payment, once they unload or load then go to exit they exit though the omani route and i highly doubt Oman is capable of imposing a fee since they're unlikely to blow up ships like Iran is . . .
@OSINTWarfare HQ-9 would be insane. It's an expensive, large target what can be easily found and attacked with fpv drones, and sudan wouldn't have the assets needed to protect it or even use it to it's fullest potential.
You can buy a 100 FK-2000 for it's price.
@cirnosad Iran is playing American's game, not the other way around. They need to apply max pressure without overplaying their hand, while the threat of hitting gulf infrastructure is keeping america at bay, it wouldn't un-blow up Iran's infrastructure if it actually happened.
@graypilled1@cirnosad Ukraine is counting on Iran attacking them so they can link to two conflicts. The smart thing for iran to do to just give Russian like a 100 BM-120 missiles and call it a day, since they don't really have a use for such short range missiles at this stage anyways.
