@simmerdownbrit@jessicalh08 Not sure this is exactly applicable to you or where I found this graphic but... in this regard myself and all my friends must be young gen X if this chart is too be believed.
@joelschafer@nssnmp5ffk After reading through the case files, I don't see Judge Derr on any of them. It appears Retelsdorf presided over this case. She's retired but gave an interview on Channel 7 last night. https://t.co/bIcOGsCcqQ
@joelschafer And to think, this was all done so that the city could see a temporary benefit of a few million $ by selling the prime piece of real estate that the main branch library sat on...
@joelschafer@itsAntWright Except every single game would have to be an upset to make that work. If you went strictly by seeding the path is Iowa, Houston, Duke, and then Arizona. The truth lies somewhere in the middle, but I'm betting four big 10 teams make the elite 8 and Illinois isn't one of them...
My fellow Nebraskans, in the coming border war remember that there are lots of really good people in Iowa. Thankfully, they are easy to identify. They are all Iowa State fans.
@EricSHaley@Reeseforsure I would have said "the german ducked" but you can insert whatever nationality you want. Maybe add "the canadian geese" (instead of duck).
@MomsPostingLs@adeaum While there is a psychology element to boarding first, loading the back of the plane first increases the risk of the plane becoming unbalanced and tipping. Loading weight in front of the rear wheels first reduces that risk, especially when checked bags aren't loaded yet.
@0xTib3rius The favorites in our house are Carcassonne, Wingspan, 7 Wonders, Machi Koro (the "bright lights big city" version), Ticket to Ride, Catan, and Qwirkle.
@0xTib3rius@techspence This is surprising to me that you haven't heard of this particular game. Despite still being relevant now it's very old. As in some archeologists claim it's middle eastern origin predates the Roman Empire. I played it as a kid and I thought most people had.
@Equ1ty_Engineer@NM5WRLD I said this on this app once and got raked over the coals by a "financial advisor" trying to claim it's better for you financially to get a loan to "build credit". He tried to tell me he built credit for himself by taking out a loan to pay for his daughter's wedding. ๐
