Annoyingly avid @RamsNFL, @Dodgers, @Lakers, @LAFC, @AnaheimDucks fan. Foodie with a Disney addiction. Mute for the sports RTs, stay for the occasional quip.
I’m not angry, but I honestly don’t think I’ve been this disappointed ever in my adult life. This should have been handled differently. Maybe amusement parks and roller coasters should’ve stayed with 15-year old me. The time spent without them could buy alcohol today.
I am in absolute shock as to how @CedarPoint & @TonyClarkCP managed Coastermania ticketing. For the last 60+ days, @TonyClarkCP’s X account and Coastermania webpage lived as my first two Safari tabs.
All the joy for this trip has soured now that I’ve been made aware I never had a chance in attending Coastermania because work, my wife, and my kids only allowed me to furiously refresh a webpage for all of two months except for one 3-hour window.
CoasterMania was to be the culmination of an 8-day trip my younger brother and I had dreamed of doing for 20 years. CoasterMania was the sole reason I picked up the phone and said to Matt, “Look at this event at CP! Why haven’t we ever done that trip?“
Tickets went on sale at 4PM ET? And I learn they’re sold out as I perform my checks after putting my daughter to bed? How do you make the decision to not give fair warning when you’ve always done so?
