@slaurvick@joakial_ The kids' rights are far more important than parents. Parents don't have the right to abuse or neglect their children, and at a minimum we should ensure all kids have opportunity regardless of who their parents are.
@SlimJim2123@notcapnamerica Look back at news coverage from 2017 when Democrats were talking about it - that's when these short tax cuts for the poor/long tax cuts for the rich were passed. And they've continued to discuss them in their campaigning.
@realRoyLiu@ozdale Because it's a very egalitarian sport. Men and women compete alongside and against each other and it lacks the misogyny of other sports. It's a safe space for queer people who can just train and compete without prejudice. I say this with personal experience as a gay equestrian.
